Word Count Attempt: Abandoned - Bowing out of NaNoWriMo this year

Life has never been easy for Ashon Malory. Born the first male child of a household of seven, he is considered an ill-omen by those within his community and family. Things become worse when the young girl that haunts his dreams shows up with a strange man and a pack of dogs on her heels.

I've abandoned this as a NaNoWriMo project, and have taken it off-line. If you fee you should have access to them feel free to contact me.

However, he must have had some luck since the white wolf refused to obey her master's command to kill the young boy. This sets off a chain of events that will ripple not only through the clans in America, but will set in motion events that will change the course of werewolf history for the whole world.

The idea behind Honshu Dogs is to look at the older werewolf lores, and even consider how such "creatures" came into being. Along with rediscovering how they could have survived, and what impact they may have had on different religions and socialites.

Even to expand the idea to create a more generic lore to explain the existence of similar "creatures" in every culture and country around the world. I wanted to see if one could generate a mythos that could explain the Asian's fox people to the Native North American's werecoyotes to the raven people of South Africa.

Will I touch on every one of these were-kin? No because this story focuses around werewolves, but the ideas behind this tale could filter their way into other stories which could expand the vision of how our world was interconnected even before we had technology to bridge the gaps.
